Overview
DentistX is a purpose-built dental practice management system on Odoo 19. It combines a patient-facing booking website with a full clinical backend — covering appointment scheduling, service management, doctor profiles, payment processing, and patient communication. The design philosophy centres on reducing dental anxiety through a calm, modern interface that feels more like booking a spa treatment than visiting a clinic.
The Challenge
The client operated a growing multi-practitioner dental clinic and was losing potential patients due to a clunky phone-only booking process. They needed an online system that could showcase their services with transparent pricing, let patients self-book appointments with their preferred dentist, and automate the confirmation/reminder workflow — all while projecting the premium, approachable brand they had built offline.
Our Solution
We built a comprehensive booking platform with a welcoming homepage featuring a "Next available slot" widget for instant booking. The services page presents every treatment — from routine check-ups to Invisalign consultations — as categorised cards with durations, descriptions, and prices upfront. A smart doctor recommendation engine matches patients to practitioners based on the selected service, availability, and patient history. The backend runs a seven-state booking pipeline (Draft → Confirmed → Checked In → In Progress → Completed → Invoiced → Cancelled) with three integrated payment methods.
