Overview
LuminaEssentials is a premium home appliances e-commerce store built on Odoo 19. It showcases a curated catalogue of smart home technology and kitchen appliances — from air purifiers and coffee machines to air fryers and smart home displays — through a polished storefront designed to convert browsers into buyers.
The Challenge
The client wanted to launch a direct-to-consumer appliance brand with a focus on quality and trust. Generic marketplace listings weren't giving them the brand control they needed, and off-the-shelf e-commerce templates lacked the product merchandising features — badges, trust signals, category navigation — that premium appliance shoppers expect.
Our Solution
We built a bespoke e-commerce storefront with a lifestyle-driven hero section and integrated search. The product grid features rich cards with category labels (Air Quality, Coffee & Beverages, Kitchen, Smart Home), product badges (Sale, New, Best Seller, Premium), star ratings, pricing in GBP, and prominent "Add to Cart" buttons. A trust bar beneath the hero communicates four key policies — Free Delivery over £75, 2-Year Warranty, 30-Day Returns, and Secure Checkout via Stripe, bank transfer, or cash. The backend leverages Odoo's native product, sale, and payment modules extended with custom OWL components for the public storefront.
