Overview
ShortLets is a premium short-term rental platform built on Odoo 19 for property managers operating holiday accommodation across Spain. It brings together property listings, availability management, guest booking workflows, and owner reporting into a single integrated system with a polished public-facing website.
The Challenge
The client managed a growing portfolio of 50+ holiday properties across multiple Spanish destinations. They were relying on third-party booking platforms (with heavy commission fees) and manual spreadsheets for availability tracking. They needed their own branded platform that could handle direct bookings, reduce dependency on OTAs, and give property owners transparent reporting.
Our Solution
We built a comprehensive property rental platform with a hero-driven homepage featuring an integrated search widget. Guests can filter by destination, arrival/departure dates, property type, bedrooms, and guest count — all from a single search panel. Each property has a rich detail page with image galleries, amenity lists, location maps, and a streamlined booking flow. The backend provides property managers with availability calendars, automated pricing rules (seasonal, length-of-stay), and a full guest communication pipeline.
